Your wedding day moves fast — the baraat procession, the mandap rituals, the exchange of garlands, the reception toasts that go late into the night. Aakriti Studio Nepal has been photographing these exact moments across Kathmandu and Lalitpur for 18 years, which means we're not learning a Nepali wedding's rhythm on your day — we already know it. We know when the priest is about to signal the next ritual, when families gather for a blessing, and when to step back so reactions stay natural instead of camera-aware. Every wedding package includes a second photographer as standard, so we're covering the couple and the wider family and guest moments simultaneously rather than choosing between them. Coverage typically runs a full ceremony day, 8 to 10 hours, though multi-day Hindu and Newari wedding schedules are something we quote and plan for individually — we understand these ceremonies don't fit into a single afternoon. Photography is candid-first: real reactions, real emotion, minimal staged posing. Formal family portraits are still included, but the bulk of the gallery reflects the day as it actually happened, not a reconstructed version of it. A sneak-peek set of edited photos arrives within 48 hours of your wedding, with the complete, fully edited gallery delivered in 2 to 4 weeks. Videography and cinematic film coverage can be added to any wedding package. We serve couples across Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, and destination weddings nationwide on request, including Pokhara and Chitwan.
